Digital Art: Tomb Trouble Concept Art – 2016

Tomb Trouble is a collaborative project to answer a brief requiring a game level that takes place in an underground bunker. Rather than go for something like a war bunker or a nuclear shelter, my partner and I chose to set our game in an Ancient Egyptian tomb, as we felt it was a location with a lot of potential.

I produced the following pieces of concept art in order to determine the overall look of a number of the proposed chambers.

Hybrid Puzzle ChamberBefore the player enters the last chamber depicted, they are stopped by a sphinx that demands they answer it’s riddle. I also produced a character sheet it to aid with 3D modelling at a later stage.
